WHO:
Men and women 18 or older with a desire to:
  • Gain a personal relationship with Christ.
  • Desire victory over drugs and alcohol
  • Be taught Biblical principles as the key to real purpose in life and overcoming life-controlling problems.

    WHAT:
    The program is residential, Biblically based, and designed to encourage an individual to confront themselves in the eyes of God. As the person matures and progresses in the program, they are entrusted with more privileges and responsibilities. While in residence, each person is expected to:
  • Attend daily, practical Bible centered classes
  • Attend classes to upgrade functional living skills and prepare him for a GED if needed
  • Participate in Biblical counseling
  • Make a diligent effort to establish themselves in proper disciplines of work, study, rest and recreation
  • Attend evening chapel services
  • Establish a Christ-centered plan for their future after completing the program.
  • Participate in a vocational training and placement curriculum.
  • Six-month post program rental assistance.

  • HOW:
  • Enter the Emergency Shelter of the City Rescue Mission
  • Complete application and induction interview with program staff
  • Complete the 30-day Pre-Program objectives
  • Commit to the completion of the program. Minimum stay would be six months

    SERVICES:
  • Comfortable living quarters
  • Three meals daily
  • Recreational facilities for weight lifting, basketball, volleyball, etc.
  • Low cost medical/dental
  • Clothing and hygiene products
  • Occasional group trips are arranged to attend sporting events, retreats, seminars, and special church meetings in the area
  • One-On-One Counsel
  • Devotions
  • Chapel
  • Bible Classes
  • Topical Discussions
  • Local Church Ties
